My Services

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate form of counseling that helps children express emotions, process experiences, and build healthy coping skills through play. Because children do not always have the words to communicate difficult thoughts or feelings, play becomes a safe and natural way for them to explore emotions, relationships, and challenges. Through a supportive and therapeutic environment, play therapy can help children improve emotional regulation, confidence, communication, and overall well-being.

Sand Tray Therapy

Sand tray therapy is a therapeutic approach that allows children, adolescents, and adults to express thoughts and emotions through the creative use of sand and miniature figures. In a safe and supportive environment, clients build scenes within the sand tray that can reflect experiences, feelings, relationships, and inner challenges that may be difficult to put into words. Sand tray therapy encourages self-expression, emotional processing, problem-solving, and healing in a gentle and non-threatening way.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing experiences, trauma, anxiety, and other overwhelming emotions. Through guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming. EMDR can support clients in reducing emotional distress, developing healthier coping responses, and moving toward healing and resilience.

ACT

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop healthier relationships with their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult feelings, ACT focuses on building mindfulness, acceptance, and psychological flexibility while encouraging actions that align with personal values and goals. Through this process, clients can learn to navigate challenges more effectively and create a more meaningful and balanced life.
